By using nostosroute.com ("the site") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

1. What we are

NostosRoute is an AI-powered trip-planning tool. You enter trip details; we use AI (Claude by Anthropic) to produce scoring, cost estimates, recommendations, and itineraries. We are not a travel agency, OTA, or booking platform. We do not collect payment, do not book your travel, and do not have inventory.

2. AI-generated content disclaimer

Trip scoring, prices, hotel recommendations, restaurant picks, and itineraries are generated by AI based on the information you provide and the AI's training data. They are estimates and recommendations only. AI can be wrong, prices change constantly, hotels close, restaurants move. Always verify all details (price, availability, address, hours, reviews) directly with the provider before booking or traveling. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

3. Affiliate disclosure

Some external links on the site (e.g., to Booking.com, Viator, GetYourGuide, etc.) are affiliate links. If you book through them, we may receive a commission. This does not increase your cost. The presence of affiliate relationships does not influence our scoring or recommendations.

4. Optional accounts and third-party sign-in

You can use NostosRoute without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google ("OAuth"):

Your provider handles login. They manage your password and their own security. Their terms and privacy policies apply to that sign-in.
We handle data we store. After sign-in, we may store your email, account ID, and trips you save to the cloud so you can access them across devices.
You agree before first cloud save. You must accept our Privacy Policy and these Terms (including this section) before saving trips to your account.
Third-party services are separate. If you follow links to airlines, hotels, booking sites, or other services, those are independent from NostosRoute. Your use of them is at your own risk and governed by their policies — not a waiver of our duties for data stored on our systems.

You are responsible for keeping your provider account secure and for reviewing what permissions you grant when you connect an account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the site for any illegal purpose
Scrape, mirror, or republish our AI-generated content without permission
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the site
Use the site to harass anyone or generate hateful content
Submit confidential information about anyone else without their permission

6. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the site will be uptime-perfect, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NostosRoute and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, goodwill, or data — including from travel decisions, missed bookings, or unsatisfactory trips planned with our tools.

Our total liability for any claims relating to the site is limited to the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (if any).

These limits do not apply where the law prohibits them — for example, liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your non-waivable statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms removes our obligation to notify you of certain security incidents as required by applicable law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms over time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
